We hope you are all took some time to reflect on our first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. As our commitment to reconciliation, the BCTLA wanted to highlight the creative talent of Indigenous youth, Tehya Poorthunder, in this year’s DEAR posters. Tehya is a 17-year-old artist from the sḵwx̱wú7mesh nation. You can read about the inspiration for her artistic design on one of her posters.

DEAR (Drop Everything and Read Day) is on Monday, October 25th this year.
