The BCTLA 2025 Fall Conference will be held at Gladstone Secondary in Vancouver, BC on October 24, 2025.

Proposals can be for in-person and/or online sessions.

The theme of our conference is Libraries are Magical and Mychal Threets is our keynote presenter! Tell us how what you do to make your space, lessons, or programs enchanting.

BCTLA Conference 2024 Updates

Thank you to all who registered to attend the BCTLA 2024 Conference From Pages to Possibilities: Planting Seeds.

Registration for both the in-person and virtual conference streams has now closed. We look forward to seeing you all next week at Victoria Secondary School. 

Important Information for Virtual Attendees

An email was sent to all virtual attendees on October 16. This email contains Zoom links for the keynote presentation and the virtual sessions. If you did not receive this email, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot locate the email, please contact the BCTLA Conference Committee at bctlaofficial@gmail.com. A follow-up email will be sent 48 hours before the conference. 

The keynote presentation will start at 9 am. Please plan to login to the Zoom room by 8:45 am to ensure you have access and to view the traditional territory welcome. If possible, try to login to your session at least 10 minutes early to ensure you have access.

If you have any difficulties on the day of the conference, please email bctlaofficial@gmail.com for assistance. Please put Tech Assistance Required in the subject line of your email.

The registration table for the in-person conference will open at 7 am. Please plan to arrive early as in-person payment will make registration take slightly longer this year.
